It's scary, we could see the flames in the mountains as we drove home on the 210 tonight. Apparently the fire near La Cañada quadrupled in size today. Driving over to Melrose, we could see the huge mushroom cloud of smoke coming from the mountains. It has burned over 20,000 acres so far and has been rapidly spreading in every direction. At least...the fire has to get all the way through Altadena before it reaches Pasadena.
